Community Groups
Community Groups at ACC Downtown are launching in September 2025, with a mission to help people know Jesus, make disciples, and serve the city.
Rooted in our church’s vision, these groups focus on community, care, and spiritual formation, creating spaces where members can grow closer to Christ and each other.
Gathering in homes, Community Groups will be places for studying God’s Word, sharing life’s joys and challenges, and supporting one another in prayer.
As we connect and grow together, we’re also equipped to serve our city, living out our faith in meaningful ways. Join us this spring to be part of a Christ-centered community dedicated to knowing Jesus more deeply, becoming disciples, and making a difference in San Antonio.
Courses
Courses at ACC Downtown are designed to help form thoughtful, faithful disciples by grounding our lives in Scripture and the Christian tradition. These courses provide focused seasons of learning that deepen our understanding of God’s Word and strengthen our love for the Church and the world God loves.
Typically offered in 8-week sessions during the spring and fall, Courses create space for careful study, meaningful discussion, and practical application. Whether you are new to theological learning or eager to grow deeper, these classes are accessible, communal, and rooted in the life of the church.
Each semester centers on a core theme that serves the church’s discipleship life. This spring, we will focus on reading Scripture for all its worth—learning how to read the Bible faithfully, attentively, and Christ-centered, so that Scripture not only informs us but forms us.
Courses are not just about gaining knowledge; they are about being shaped by the Word of God for faithful presence in everyday life. We invite you to join us as we learn together, ask good questions, and grow in wisdom for the sake of Christ and our city.

Our mission is to guide our members in deepening their understanding of Jesus and nurturing their personal faith journey. Through engaging teachings, discipleship groups, and community support, we aim to cultivate a vibrant spiritual life that reflects the love and teachings of Christ.
